The SamandRuby Rose Charity was founded in the aftermath of the 2004 Tsunami.

The Charity was established in remembrance of Samantha Archer Fayet and her daughter Ruby Rose Fayet, who lost their lives in the disaster.

The aim of the Charity is to help children in Thailand, especially in Phgang Nga Province, the region that was most devastated by the Tsunami.

The local people, who themselves had lost so much, helped many foreign visitors, including Patrice, Sam's surviving husband.
