On the 27th of June 2008 the Kosmos Ensemble has given an extremely successful benefit concert in aid of the Sam and Ruby Rose Charity, with all proceeds going to the Charity and all work done by friends and family. The concert took place in the lovely Wilton's Music Hall in London and judging by the reactions from the audience it was enjoyed tremendously by all present. A musical mix of Gypsy, Jewish, Balkan and Tango music was played, some traditional, full of improvisation and passion, some composed by Kosmos. Kosmos also played music by composers Robert Fokkens and Benjamin Oliver, who were present at the concert. The members of Kosmos are Harriet MacKenzie, violin, cousin of Sam, Laura Anstee, cello. and Meg Hamilton, violin. Special guests were accordionist Milos Milivojevic and tango dancers Sophie Millner and Yohann Le Grand.
